David Galvan

Director of Innovation and Development | Trainer

David has been teaching, training, and facilitating conversations about whole-person health with students and adults since 2010. Over the years, he has personally spoken to nearly 30,000 students across Colorado's front range and nationwide. His extensive experience with students has guided him in co-producing two evidence-informed presentations focused on healthy relationships, teen mental health awareness, and suicide prevention. A dynamic and engaging speaker, David has led countless workshops and seminars, including at Summit Ministries Student Conferences.

David is actively involved in his community’s Youth Suicide Prevention Workgroup, where he co-chairs the Faith-Based Community subgroup and serves on the steering committee. He is a certified trainer in Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), specializing in trauma-informed care, and is also a trainer for QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) and Youth & Teen Mental Health First Aid. Having trained over 1,000 individuals, David recently became a trainer and the Youth & Young Adult Director for Soul Shop, a faith-based initiative that equips faith leaders to support those impacted by suicide.

David is dedicated to the mission of ensuring that every person has access to help, healing, and hope.
